Dr. Holmberg performs ophthalmic surgery at the Animal Eye Center on a scheduled and emergency basis. Only the best surgical equipment is utilized including a Zeiss OPMI Lumera T surgical microscope, Alcon Centurion vision system, Iridex diode laser, Frigitronics nitrous oxide cryosurgery unit, and Storz microsurgical instruments.

Anesthesia monitoring, including EKG, pulse oximetry, end-tidal CO2, blood pressure, and temperature is performed on every patient undergoing a surgical procedure.
